WELCOME – NOVEMBER 2025

Dear All,

Welcome to the November 2025 edition of Ensemble.

This month, I was delighted to re-join the Society of London Theatre Board. West End theatre is a cherished part of my personal history first as co-founder of ATG and now of Trafalgar Entertainment. I look forward to working with my fellow Board members to ensure that London continues to be the theatre capital of the world, with a West End that delivers an exceptional theatre experience to as many people as possible.

I also enjoyed a recent conversation with Chase Demmers for Trafalgar Education’s new podcast, Performing in Life, chatting about theatre, leadership, Bruce Springsteen, and puppetry (as you can see from my photo!) – You can tune in now wherever you stream your podcasts.

November is always a busy month, and this year is no exception. Trafalgar Tickets embarked on a new business partnership, attended London’s World Travel Market, and launched the UK’s Biggest Ever Black Friday Theatre Sale. Colleagues from around the Group represented Trafalgar at Theatre Craft 2025 at the Royal Opera House, and Venue teams engaged in Christmas Light Switch On events across the country.

Trafalgar has embarked on an exciting new sponsorship with digital station, Box Office Radio, and has joined forces with industry colleagues to become founding supporters of Theatre Green Book – the industry-wide initiative supporting the performing arts to work more sustainably. The time to act has never been more critical.

A warm welcome to Melanie Dhawan, who joined the Trafalgar family this week as our brand-new CFO, and congratulations to Neil Jones in Eastbourne who has been promoted to Venue Director. We’re also delighted to Chris Jordan remains with the company in a new role as Executive Producer for Eastbourne Theatres Productions. And a huge round of applause for the Stagecoach team for their latest award win – very much deserved.

Trafalgar is once again taking part in the annual Christmas Jumper Day for Save the Children on Thursday 11 December. It’s become something of a Christmas tradition at TE, and we love seeing everyone wearing their favourite winter woollies! Next month is also our big bumper Christmas edition of Ensemble. Please share any Christmas content, festive stories, panto news, and Christmas Jumper Day pics with Dave Bradbury by 12 December.

Enjoy reading this month’s Ensemble, and until next time, take care of yourselves.

Best wishes
Rosemary
