Welcome to the September 2025 edition of Ensemble. 

Autumn has well and truly arrived, and that means our venues are busy preparing for the most wonderful season of all with pantomime launches happening across the land. 

From Central Hall Westminster to Cardiff Castle, carpet shops to supermarkets, nothing quite beats panto season!

There’s lots to celebrate this month, including the grand opening of Bradford Live, Fareham Live’s first birthday, award recognition for Orchard West, and a record-breaking Barbican season with Fiddler on the Roof and Good Night, Oscar.

We welcome Sheena Hulme to the company as the new Venue Director at Fareham Live, and send warm wishes and congratulations to Houri Tapiki at Theatre Royal Sydney, and Fiona Martin and Andy Grange at the Wycombe Swan, on the arrival of their new babies.
