Dear All,

Happy New Year and welcome to the January 2025 edition of Ensemble.

I hope you all had an enjoyable festive season, and managed to find some time to relax and unwind. 

Thank you to everyone for your hard work during December, without doubt our busiest trading month of the year. 

Congratulations to the team at Imagine Theatre on another hugely successful and record-breaking panto season. You can get all the lowdown in this Ensemble. And a special mention to Glasgow Pavilion’s Beauty and the Beastie panto which grossed an incredible £2million at the box office! 

As we start this New Year, we’ve got plenty of exciting projects, productions and cinema events on the horizon. The Theatres team are already busy engaging with Eastbourne City Council and Venue Management at Eastbourne Theatres, following the news that Trafalgar will become the new operators of the Congress Theatre, Devonshire Park Theatre, Winter Garden, and its conferencing and exhibition facilities in the spring. 

On the production front, we open the highly anticipated Clueless: The Musical at Trafalgar Theatre next month, and our co-production of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman starring David Hayman is preparing to hit the road, which will see it visiting some Trafalgar venues on this new UK Tour.

Great news for Stagecoach Australia with expansion into NSW and Victoria territories, and we’re delighted to announce our 2025 Company Away Day; Living Our Values – Respect on Monday 10 March at Fareham Live.

It seems some of our colleagues are also planning for an exciting year ahead. In this edition, we hear their stories as they take on some inspirational fitness challenges in 2025.
