Peek inside the Orchard Theatre

Last month, Trafalgar granted media access to the Orchard Theatre for the BBC and ITV.

It was an important update and site visit for local media, so they could see the progress being made on the building works at the Orchard Theatre which is due to reopen in 2025.

Theatre Director Tal Rosen and Lead Councillor for Dartford Borough Council Leader Jeremy Kite, gave interviews to the presenters to help give an understanding of why this work is taking longer than expected and explain the complexities of a project of this nature, whilst highlighting the additional improvement works that have also been commissioned to enhance the venue for audiences.

The Pavilion Theatre Glasgow has welcomed over 20,000 audience members for Rocky Horror Show in 2024!

The Glasgow audience can’t get enough of the show at the theatre with ticket sales seeing record heights. At the start of the year, audiences were treated to a party guaranteed to beat the January blues, with Holby City star and winner of Strictly Come Dancing, Joe McFadden starring as The Narrator to rave reviews. Audiences didn’t have to wait long for a return as this October, Australian superstar Jason Donovan reprised his iconic role as the captivating Frank-n-Furter, leading to a sell-out weekend at The Pavilion!

Due to popular demand, Rocky Horror is scheduled to return to the Glasgow Pavilion for another full week in June of 2026.

Theatre Director Jamie Gordon said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the Rocky Horror Show back to the Pavilion in 2026. After two sell-out runs this year, it shows that Rocky, after 50 years strong, is still the hottest ticket in town.”

Throughout the event, they connected with a wide range of industry professionals, including travel agencies, wholesalers, tour operators, and group travel specialists.

Taking a big step at the Cliffs Pavilion

Next time you climb the steps to the Cliffs Pavilion from the sea front, take a moment to admire the newly renovated archway. Looking good thanks to investment by Southend Theatres, Trafalgar Entertainment and Trafalgar Theatres.
