SURPRISE CELEBRATORY LUNCH FOR SOUTHEND LONG SERVICE STAFF

Celebrations took place in Southend this week with a surprise lunch for two members of staff who were both marking a special milestone.

2024 marks 30 years’ service for Oliver Stacey – General Manager – Southend Theatres and James Wareham – Content Executive – Trafalgar Tickets.

Oliver started as a Front of House Usher and James started as a Box Office Clerk in 1994. Oliver then worked his way up from usher – to team leader and on to be Front of House Manager and at the beginning of this month was newly promoted to General Manager.

James worked in box office and then became part of the marketing team in Southend in 2008 – then during the Marketing restructure moved mover to Trafalgar Tickets on the content team.

Rosemary Squire said: “Huge congratulations and many thanks to Oliver and James for their 30 years with Southend Theatres. We are immensely grateful for the passion and commitment you have brought to the Cliffs and Palace in your roles over the years – thank you for an exceptional contribution.”

Helen Enright said: “Congratulations to Oliver and James – 60 combined years of hard work in Southend – that’s quite a milestone! Thank you both for your ongoing commitment and unwavering enthusiasm which has had a real and lasting impact on the success of Southend Theatres.”
