TINA concludes its reign at the Royal!

After announcing in August 2022, and then finally arriving for its month-long bump in and tech during early April 2023, TINA – The Tina Turner Musical has now concluded its season at Theatre Royal Sydney

The production held 301 performances at the venue from 4 May 2023 to 28 January 2024 with over 300,000 people in attendance, leading to an 85% overall capacity and grossing over $AUD40 million in ticket sales.

The venue achieved an 89% satisfaction rate from its post show surveys, facilitated over 250 group bookings, generated impressive bar revenue, and saw significant growth in our databases and social media.

Additionally, the show provided regular, steady employment to a large casual workforce in its Bar, Front of House and Stage Door teams which in turn creates retention and high levels of customer service.

Congratulations to the team on a hugely successful and “simply the best” season!

West End Wilma Awards

Dartford’s Jenna Crowle and Kay Hadley at the West End Wilma Awards

Trafalgar Theatres sponsored the ‘Best Touring Production’ award at the West End Wilma Awards at the Leicester Square Theatre last month.

Our logo was on the photo backdrop, in the programme and on stage for the award announcement. It was a great way to get our brand recognition in front of an industry audience.

Nominated and voted for by the public, the Best Touring Production Award went to SIX the Musical.

The sponsorship was arranged by Marketing Campaign Director, Becky Pepper.

Home-Start Together Ball

G Live were privileged to have hosted Home-Start Guildford for their charity ball on 2 February, hosted by local celebrity Peter Gordon, which raised an incredible £125,000.

The ‘Together Ball,’ a sell-out event that drew over 400 esteemed guests and philanthropists, was a night of entertainment, gastronomic delights, and, most importantly, fundraising.

The funds raised will go towards the charity’s mission to give children the best possible start in life, ensuring that local families facing challenges receive the support they need.

If you would like to know more about their work or if you would like to donate to the amazing cause then head to Home-Start Guildford

Baby Friendly Cinema Club

G Live also launched their brand-new Baby Friendly Cinema Club recently! This programme enables parents and carers to enjoy a film without any worries and gives them the opportunity to meet people from the local community.

The first screening went off without a hitch and some future screenings are already sold at over 50% capacity.
