Welcome to the February 2024 edition of Ensemble.

We start with some great news! The Financial Times and Statista have informed us that Trafalgar Entertainment is going to be recognised in the 8th Edition of the FT1000 Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies Special Report – due to be published online 1 March and in print 25 March. 

The Financial Times and Statista work together annually to identify and highlight the fastest growing enterprises in Europe.

This is accomplished by launching public calls for participation, directly contacting thousands of companies, and conducting supplementary desk research, a process which ultimately identified TE as one of Europe’s Fastest Growing Companies. 

We’re currently gearing up for our annual Management Away Day, due to take place at G Live in Guildford on 26 February. This year’s theme is centred around another of our company values – Creativity. Look out for a special report in next month’s Ensemble. 

Helen and I were delighted to take part in Imagine Theatre’s monthly podcast, Just Imagine, recently. Huge thanks to Sarah and Steve Boden for the opportunity, we loved every minute. Our episode goes out on 15 March, and you can listen to it here along with all the other great episodes.

Finally, 2024 is a special year for Howard and I as it marks a significant milestone – 100 years joint commitment to theatre and live entertainment. 57 years for Howard and 43 for me. 100 years but not out. We certainly don’t plan on retiring anytime soon!
