STAGECOACH ANNUAL CONFERENCE – LEICESTER
The Stagecoach Annual Conference took place last month to share ideas and celebrate the theme of ‘Together Towards Tomorrow’.
Franchisees from the UK, Canada, Germany and Malta and the Stagecoach Support Centre made their way to Leicester for the two-day event.
On day one there was an evening networking event that gave the opportunity for everyone to catch up and meet some new faces in the network.

The next day started with a Leadership Team Update with addresses from Helen Enright (Executive Chair for Stagecoach), Andy Knights (CEO), Lisa Stead (COO), Matt Clark (Director of Performance, Production and Partnerships) and Jo Scalpello (Group Marketing Director). Their speeches focused on the growth of both Stagecoach and Trafalgar and brought us back to the theme of ‘Together Towards Tomorrow’.

This day also held a series of workshops on various topics, from Performing Arts exams to marketing support to new offerings for the brand. In-between these workshops, there were Keynote Speeches from Michael Matania of Tough Cookie and actor/writer and former Stagecoach student Rob Madge.
To celebrate the achievements of the Stagecoach network over the past 35 years, there was an award presentation for Long Service Awards and the franchisees’ Franchisee of the Year.

It was a fun, positive event that gave the whole Stagecoach team a chance to reconnect, hear from Key Speakers and discover the latest updates from the brand.
Lisa Stead, COO Trafalgar Education, said: “From the moment the first franchisee walked through the door, to the last leaving (perhaps a tad bleary eyed from the night before) the atmosphere was one of enthusiasm, energy, and joy!
“Such an amazing opportunity to network, support our franchisees, and learn from the experts, and each other too! Franchisee and supplier feedback has been that it was “the best yet”, with people already looking forward to, and planning for, the next one! We could not be more pleased with how successful the event was.”
