Welcome to the July edition of Ensemble.

I’d like to start this month by saying a huge thank you and congratulations to all of our venue teams for raising such an incredible amount of money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) over the past couple of years.

I have a long association with GOSH having Chaired both its Theatres for Theatres Appeal and the charity’s Tick Tock Club, so I’m delighted that we can continue our special relationship with the hospital. You can read more about this story later.

It’s been a bumper news month for TE, with new shows, major announcements and great initiatives across the Group.

TTP’s new production of A Strange Loop opened for its summer season at The Barbican Centre to rave reviews, Glasgow’s Pavilion Theatre announced details of a producing partnership with Tron Theatre, and TE added a brand new venue to its theatre portfolio – Fareham Live – set to open in 2024.

Helen O’Grady Drama Academy rebranded as Drama Kids, our Creative Learning Summer Youth Projects got underway, and Stagecoach franchisees from around the world gathered in Leicester for another successful annual conference.

Holiday season is now upon us, so if you’re going away over the summer months for a well-deserved break, switch off, relax, and enjoy!
